This product was made from natural white-tailed deer glands. It has been analyzed in the laboratory and reproduced synthetically. These glands allow the deer to deposit its identity (individual scent) specifically on the branch overhanging a scratch. They are located in the corner of each eye socket. There is a dark piece of flesh there. Endocrine glands located there secrete pheromones which give off the individual odor of the deer.
