Introducing our cutting-edge LockDown Links, redefining what an expandable saddle can be. Pleated saddles have traditionally suffered from problems with inadvertent opening and clumsy handling during transport to the hunting area, often leading to user frustration. We tackled this problem head-on by designing an Expandable Saddle Body that works in synergy with our LockDown Link system. This expandable body allows the saddle to adapt to your movements as you walk, climb, and hunt. LockDown Links are detachable, adjustable, and easily replaceable, allowing hunters to personalize their comfort level and easily replace them in case of wear and tear, loss, or damage. Each LockDown comes with two sets of LockDown Links: one pre-installed and one spare set.
Our newly designed LockDown Hauler with an integrated IFS (Internal Frame Structure) is a pioneering concept. IFS simplifies gear management like never before. The LockDown Haulers, designed for easy one-handed operation, can comfortably accommodate those who prefer carrying a substantial amount of gear. We've doubled the capacity compared to our original SYS Haulers, and trimmed the exterior profile to give the LockDown a streamlined look. The Haulers are directly sewn into the saddle body, lending additional structure and comfort to the entire system. To facilitate organization, we've included a built-in grommet system for retractable gear hoists.
The introduction of our innovative Yoke System takes Tethrd saddles to unexplored heights. If you're dealing with a saddle that refuses to stay put, our Yoke is the solution. It's light, modular, and sturdy, and comes pre-installed with the LockDown. If desired, it can be removed in about 15 seconds for those favoring a more minimalist approach. The Yoke is also backwards compatible with our Phantom Saddle, allowing you to hunt even more swiftly and lightly.
Our trademarked UtiliBridge™ reigns supreme in the world of adjustable saddle hunting bridges. It is instrumental in comfort, durability, and 360-degree shooting, offering up to 40 inches of adjustability to ensure everyone can find their sweet spot. The UtiliBridge™ seamlessly integrates with your setup, ensuring every hunt is as smooth as possible. Our patented Comfort Channels™ deliver unmatched all-day comfort, offering seven different levels of support. These channels facilitate easy, one-handed adjustments for leaning trees and awkward positions, giving you complete control over your support needs.
In our bid to balance quality with cost-effectiveness, the LockDown is uniquely manufactured. We produce all load-bearing elements (like the Saddle Chassis, Bridge Loops, UtiliBridge, Lineman Loops, etc.) domestically in the USA, while the non-load-bearing components (such as LockDown Haulers & Yoke) are imported from our overseas partners. Final assembly occurs right here in Texas. This gives you the best of both worlds: American-made load-bearing components and assembly, coupled with cost-effective foreign-made accessories. If you notice any tags or comments about Chinese manufacturing, know that it only applies to non-load-bearing accessories. We strive for transparency and honesty to ensure there are no surprises.
