Shipping and receiving inventory associate
L'Archerot, the ultimate hunting and fishing store in the Outaouais region, is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Inventory Associate to support the growth of our Gatineau store.

Job responsibilities
- Maintain product inventory information at the warehouse level as well as in the computer system.
- Understand and resolve inventory inaccuracies.
- Implement sustainable solutions for maintaining a reliable inventory;
- Place and receive orders;
- Check that the goods coincide with the purchase order and the shipping slip.
- Pack the products in such a way as to avoid breakage;
- Complete the delivery note on all packages with the corresponding weight. Prepare transport paperwork and communicate with transport companies;
- Preparation of customer orders;
- Responsible for setting up and monitoring and achieving objectives;
- Develop and implement execution, monitoring and analysis tools in order to increase the performance of warehouse operations in a tangible way;
- Manage the daily operations of the distribution center (receiving, picking, packing, returns of goods):
- Manage the locations and physical inventories of the goods in the warehouse and ensure that they are updated;
- Perform sound management of exceptions and potential problems related to the processing and shipping of orders;Resolution of customer complaints
- Follows all company policies and procedures
Education and/or experience required
- Knowledge and experience in the field of inventory management – Minimum 3 years
- Experience working with inventory management software
- Proficiency with Excel and data management
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Math skills / reasoning ability
Communication skills
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with our customers, suppliers and other associates
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Bilingual writing and reading proficiency
Physical requirements
- Able to stand for long periods
Other knowledge, skills and abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, colleagues, and clients.
- Ability to use the computerized point of sale register system
